Equitable Practice AND OTHER Guides
The Guide section is envisioned as a curated bibliography of Tool Kits or "How To's..." to support equitable practice that are currently in active use and implementation within the profession. Some examples include the WikiD initiative to increase recognition on Wikipedia and Parlour's guides to Equitable Practice. We encourage submission of new guides for inclusion here.

The Parlour Guides to Equitable Practice have been developed to help Australian architecture move towards a more equitable profession; one that offers opportunity for all and is better positioned to meet contemporary challenges.
The American Institute of Architects (AIA) Women in Architecture TOOL KIT was developed to assist groups of women and / or components who want to foster an environment in which women architects can succeed. The TOOL KIT’s purpose is to provide a guideline from which ideas can be used and or expanded to fit a range of needs and interests.
Best Practices Recommendations for the Design Profession
This document urges architecture firms to apply their spirit of innovation to the management of our practices, revising the ways we operate our businesses to respond to the demands of life.
iaWia studied issues of work-life balance through a series of events held in 2012 and 2013. A task force developed a set of best practice recommendations to support the development and implementation of policies that address work-life balance and career development challenges in order to enhance recruitment, retention and engagement of employees at all career stages. Recommendations are action-oriented, research-based and draw from our 2012 and 2013 events.

ArchiteXX and Parlour would like to invite as many people as possible to help write into wikipedia women designers, architects and all those involved in the creation of our built environment. We are seeking to create a global effort in order to have the most diverse and wide ranging of women written in on this day. Because there are so many women to write about, we see this as the inaugural of what we hope will become an annual event.
Parlour has developed a set of five brief guides to help you learn about writing for Wikipedia. Written for beginners, the WikiD Guide draws on the vast amount of information already out there and link to many other detailed resources. Available in English and German.
